I thoroughly enjoyed Living, Loving & Unlearning, as it’s chock-full of helpful reminders and tools, written from the heart, on how to be who we really are. For instance, here are just a few of therapist Cynthia Brennen’s topics: The truer you are to your heart’s desire, the truer you are to your authentic self. Anything that doesn’t feel comfortable in the pit of your gut is worth reevaluating. What we think about we become. Who we spend time with, is the vibrational energy that we emit. What we surround ourselves with, is how we feel. Only you have created what exists in your life, and only you can change it. The less energy you give a negative vibe, the less you feed its strength. I love this one: Denial = Don’t Even Notice I am Lying. The power of forgiveness- oh yes, may we not forget about this! The higher road to health is always available- Do you choose a life of positively and joy or a life of negativity and sadness? Plus, 10 tips to push anxiety and depression aside.... More > These are only a few of my favorites and just the tip of the iceberg of the wisdom that Cynthia has written about. Enjoy the read.< Less

I found this book interesting and written with a holistic approach. It encourages those seeking to reclaim something they may have lost within themselves. Cynthia speaks from the heart and shares some personal experiences. It is uplifting and a different way of looking at what we usually call therapy. Enjoyable reading with warm, compassionate, spiritual guidance that opens the mind to possibilities.

Cynthia's book really hit home with me. I especially like the format of small snippets of wisdom, and soulful experiences throughout. I could open to any page and find something that really spoke to my true self....the one that seeks truth, health, and beauty. She speaks from a unique vantage point of clinical experience with clients for several years, and yet she is guided by Spirit every step of the way. I the realm of Tolle, Dwyer, and Chopra I'd say, simply because you can feel it.
