Made in Vermont

ByD. A. A. Price

In a world where robots, electro-magnetic transportation, and espresso making phones are commonplace, 16-year-old farm boy, Ben Menino, merely dreams of a day when the corporation would just leave everyone the hell alone. But when U.C. America’s missing CEO turns up under the wheels of the Menino family’s antique hybrid automobile, Ben and his brother Patrick are left pondering how best to take advantage of a drunken executive suffering from mild amnesia. What follows is an adventurous romp through the forests of Vermont en route to the corporate farmlands. There they hope to find a man known only as Pedro and spark a reunion with a fabled bottle of tequila. Of course, they’ll have to avoid those pesky rocketcopters, deal with robot impostors, and join up with a band of cross-dressing revolutionaries. In the end their choice is simple; enlist everyone they've crossed paths with into a grand and glorious act of rebellion because, let's face it, you just don't mess with the maple syrup.
