This volume contains the full text of the three books "Palindor", "Shadow" and "Phendric". In "Palindor", Katrin visits the land of Palindor as a teenager, battling the evil Malthazzar. She returns as an adult in "Shadow", to find herself fighting against the kingdom of Soltarwyn under the leadership of her own son. In "Phendric", Katrin returns as an old woman, accompanied by her son and his headstrong daughter, Diana.
