Lawrence (Larry) Morris was — along with C. Daly King, Gorham Munson and William Nyland — a key member of Orage’s New York inner circle and Gurdjieff group during the late 1920s while Orage was editing the English edition of Gurdjieff s typescript of "Beelzebub’s Tales to his Grandson". Morris’ notes cover thirty-two weekly meetings in New York City, interspersed with breaks, from January 17th to December 27, 1927 and from March 19 to May 28, 1928. Most of Orage’s discussion focuses on "Beelzebub’s Tales to his Grandson".
