Talaith is the 6th and final symphonic poem in my cycle FY NGWLAD - My Country. It is a soundscape, evoking the hideous procession of the Norman French through the streets of 13th century London, during which the Talaith of Wales, a sacred coronet linked to Arthur and recently plundered by Eduard 1, was tranferred to Westminster Abbey. Tragic bitter procession, the Londoners, the barges being hauled up the Thames and the mystic, celtic countryside, now bereft as the attempt at cultural genocide begins .... contact me directly for parts.
