This is the compilation of a series of articles written for SHRORO, a Syriac Orthodox magazine for the worldwide Syriac Orthodox Community. Within this series are a core group of articles on the influence of Syriac Christianity in China during the first millenium. It concludes with an introduction and translation from Syriac to English on the Seige of Amida in 502-3 A.D. which prepared the ground for the fall of Christianity in the Middle East and the rise of Islam.
