"It’s a common theme among early adopters that the heady days of origins are the best. Certainly, if you were to interview many of the bloggers who were in place for the original explosion in the medium, they would tell you that a kind of Wild West chaotic energy marked the early days. And there was indeed a lot of experimentation. I would say that people’s recollections might be similar to those offered up by folks who were in London for the initial explosion of the Punk Rock scene. Heady days. Back when the medium was authentic. Before it sold out."
