Deep Are the Woods and Dark by Night

When Ida Skaggs was befriended by Lindy and Tessa Fagan, she had no idea what the Virginia summer had in store for her. Neither did she know that loves would be lost and found that fateful summer. Ida simply knew that life called to her. It demanded to be lived, so she lived it. Plans were made for a camping trip into the forested mountains. In addition to camping, the group planned to search for a fabled creature, known to locals as the Woodbooger. As fate would have it, however, trouble fell upon the campers. Something indeed prowled the night, and that something wanted one of them.
