A plaque on the front of Haley’s house proclaimed it to be a happy home. That was not the case. After a recent divorce, Haley moved in her new boyfriend, much to the dismay of her children. That, however, was the least of Haley’s troubles.
Something was amiss in the old house. Haley’s new residence seemed hungry for her very soul. Its past seemed alive. Things that should have been dead remained as residents of the rental property, and Haley was committed to live with them. Her concern was that someone in the house would soon be dead with them. The house demanded it.
