For the most part, Lyric and Melody Ross were average, teenage girls. Their musician father once had gained much popularity but had died ten years prior. In that short span, Nigel Ross was almost forgotten. That was fine with the sisters. They wanted to be nothing more than they were.
Life seemed perfect until Melody was involved in a near-fatal car accident. It was then that Lyric realized there was something terribly wrong with her sister. Life was not as perfect as it had seemed. Something lived in the past and refused to die.
Returning to Nashville and their long-abandoned house, the girls stepped into their past. That past was darker than either girl had recalled. It was there in that dreadful house that the Ross sisters faced the horror of what their parents had left behind.
