"Dan Perlman's Saltshaker Spanish-English-Spanish Dictionary of Food and Wine" I've known Dan for a long time. He's one of the most knowledgeable and experienced food and wine people I have ever met. He is a superb chef with his own outlet in Buenos Aires, and is a fine writer, as well, published widely, not only in food and wine, but in fiction and non-fiction, as well. This dictionary is wonderful. Since I got my copy, I've actually learned a lot of new things about cooking I did not know before. It's much more than just a word lookup book. It's a treasure trove of in-depth cultural knowledge. I hope everyone who reads this review gets his/her hands on a copy of this book. You will be very happy you did.
