Known: Integrated

Be known. We all want to be known. We want others to know us. So we post on facebook, seek athletic notoriety, pursue professional success, look for romance, and crave true friendship. We were made to be known. It's only human. It's just who we are. We were made for relationships. We were made by God for them in fact. And more specifically we were hardwired to desire perfect relationships. The only problem is we're all imperfect and that hardwired desire for a perfect relationship leads to a disappointment with every relationship we have at some point in this world. So what was God's purpose in this? Human despair? No. A relationship with Him was his purpose. A relationship with him that can redeem our broken relationships with others. In fact, God intended to build a series of redeemed relationships we call the Church. And that Church was meant to be the light of the world.
