This workbook is a comprehensive collection of solved exercises and problems typical to AP, introductory, and general chemistry courses, as well as blank worksheets containing further practice problems and questions. It contains a total of 197 learning objectives, grouped in 28 lessons, and covering the vast majority of the types of problems that a student will encounter in a typical one-year chemistry course. It also contains a fully solved, 50-question practice test, which gives students a good idea of what they might expect on an actual final exam covering the entire material.
This is everything you could ever want in a Workbook for Gen Chem. It is To the point, cutting out all the confusing and sometimes contradictory elements found in chemistry text books. It shows the Quickest way to get from the problem to the solution, with no messing around. I would recommend the full edition, even if you are Only taking 112 or your equivalent second semester of College Gen Chem, because the material presented in the second semester relies so heavily on the material from the first half of the course. The first half of the book made a fantastic on hand quick reference for those bits and pieces I had forgotten from the first Chem class. This is a collection of solved problems with solution strategies that lend themselves to use for even the most difficult aspects of chemistry, presented in such a way that you can use strategies from several sections to solve those really difficult problems. Practice is Key in learning to do chemistry and perform well on tests, and this... More > Book gives you everything you would need to get the most out of any chemistry course.< Less
This book has been very helpful throughout the semester. The worked examples help with every worksheet and it's a great resource. I would not of been as successful this semester without purchasing this book. It helps you understand the theories behind the formulas as well as showing you how to use the formulas correctly.
This book is a great all-in-one resource for Chem 112. I, personally, struggle sometimes getting the hang of some of the methods used to solve problems. Having this book along with the worksheets provided to go along improved my understanding of Chemistry tremendously. Highly recommend to future 111/112 students, or anyone striving to learn chemistry.
This book is by far the BEST chemistry resource that I could find. I am not the best at chemistry, and after taking an unsuccessful attempt during the summer session I was forced to retake the course. With this book I feel very comfortable with the material. It is laid out in a very easy to use format and gives worked examples of almost any kind of inorganic chemistry problem. 5 Stars!
I own the Helium Edition and it is great. I only bought it for CHE 112, but I wish I had it for CHE 111. The workbook provides a variety of different questions and a step by step solution. It saved me a lot of time and showed me how to work the problems. I would definitely recommend this workbook for any CHE 111/112 student.
