They sent him away to be safe. They sent him away to keep him hidden. They sent him away to keep his soul pure. But there was no escape.
Patik is a story set against the backdrop of fear, with conflicts claiming lives in cities and towns across three countries, turning people to seek revenge for past horrors and castrate their enemy’s future, targeting children, destroying innocence and hope. Right and wrong, justifiable retaliation and madness, become meaningless, a different colour to each eye. Aziel, a young boy, is put on a boat and sent away to live with his grandfather where his parents hope he will be safe. But someone hides in the mountains, with a spirit turned wicked. Evil is everywhere, it will be felt, and no-one will be spared.
