Other than the fact it can use some editing for grammar, it is a very interesting presentation about details of the Mexican Revolution (1910-1920) and the life of Pancho Villa from the perspective of a leader in the Mormon Colonies of Northern Mexico. I have read other books on those three subjects, but this one contains more details about the Mexican Revolution and the life of Pancho Villa than I have found elsewhere. The author has done a commendable job and his bibliography is extensive. Being a historian myself, I would have enjoyed a lot of footnotes tying the facts to their sources. It was hard for me to get anything else done during the week I read it.
