This game really takes me back to the early 80s and days of playing the old basic and expert box sets. I have ran a few games with the LL rules and have found them to be very playable and to give a DM plenty of wiggle room for house rules and adding more rules crunch if that be a persons wish. The system is simple and combats run much faster than in other editions I have played recently which has inspired me to make Labyrinth Lord my go to RPG for fantasy action.
