Fitness Blender's Low Impact Program uses our free workout videos in a meticulously built plan that tells you which workouts to do, 5-6 days a week (sixth day is optional), for 4 weeks. Apr 26, 2017I am not an exercise beginner. (Do read all the great reviews by those who are) but I prefer low-impact. Funny, I'm actually more likely to do this program because it is easier than others I have, but I still get in a good workout. I have friends who want to sweat and feel completely beat after a workout - this is not the one for them but I love it! A far as the Ebook itself goes, it includes helpful information and only links to the videos, no pictures or off line videos. Also, most of the workouts are over 40 minutes long using more than one of their videos per workout. I have been adjusting and changing the pairings to add a about a day each week to keep the time under 30 minutes. It works okay. The videos are all available on YouTube which allows me to use my roku, but time consuming to find all the correct videos each day. One week in and I already feel the difference. Thanks Fitness Blender for being affordable!
Mar 27, 2015I start this program 3 months after the birth of my second son. 4 weeks later I have lost 14 lbs and 3,4% of body fat. The program is great and I have already download another one!
Mar 9, 2015This is great! I've never been a big exercise fan, and now I'm 48 and 30 pounds overweight. I walk a lot, but have zero upper body and core strength. I completed this program, and am doing it a second time. I've not lost weight,yet, but I'm definitely stronger, with more endurance. Today I did a workout with jumping jacks, and I was able to keep going the whole time! Maybe not as fast as Kelli, but I didn't have to stop, which is a major improvement. My big goal, other than losing the weight, is to be able to do full pushups. I have more energy, and most importantly, have remained motivated to continue working out. I'm impressed that Kelli and Daniel offer these videos for free, and buying a guided workout program is cheap, easy, and totally worth it. I like the videos - it's like it's just you and them - not a room full of fit people and thumping music. And as I'm getting stronger and more coordinated doing the exercises, it's almost enjoyable. Feb 17, 2015I first came across Fitness Blender videos on YouTube and used them on and off for a while. I liked them because there's a wide variety to choose from (instead of doing the same exercises day after day), there's no annoying background music and Daniel and Kelli seem like genuine 'normal' people. I bought this program quite some time ago, but it was the arrival of New Year that gave me that final push to actually do it. My only regret now is: why didn't I do it sooner??!? Low impact is a great starting point for me as I'm very overweight and I've got dodgy ankles, so a lot of jumping around is not a good idea. Make no mistake though - low impact does not mean 'easy' (at least not for me!). Admittedly, I am by no means fit and I found some of these workouts really difficult. However, Daniel and Kelli's advice and encouragement kept me going. If I couldn't manage a particular exercise, I did something similar, or at least just kept moving. I had longer, or more frequent, water breaks... More > when necessary. I missed out some of the optional workouts and I also took extra rest days between workouts when I needed to. And I didn't feel guilty, because Daniel and Kelli said it was ok! In all honesty, I probably would have given up after a week of this if I hadn't had 'permission' to take extra breaks etc. I would have felt like I'd failed because I couldn't keep up. Instead, I made it all the way to the end (although it did take me five weeks instead of four!) and I have never felt more motivated. I started to notice changes to my body after just two weeks, my clothes fit more comfortably and I'm definitely fitter than I was. I also lost weight (9 pounds), although I must say I find it very refreshing that the focus of this program is on getting fit and healthy and improving what your body can do, rather than obsessing about how much it weighs. I'm now doing another Fitness Blender program and am continuing to get fitter. Also, this is a complete bargain. A one hour zumba class costs me £5 - this four week plan costs less and is more effective. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!< Less
Jan 5, 2015I've bought this a little while back, and I can already see improvements on my body. This is a 'must buy'!. I love it, because there are so many great workouts that'll help you get in shape.
