THAT MONSTER was dark. LIGHTHOUSE was light. HEAT represents the third chapter in the career of Daniel Stallings, showing just how creative and interesting he can be. Written during the summer of 2011, HEAT is a collection of nine song lyrics assembled to look like an album's art booklet. Filled with colorful images (both lyrical and photographic), HEAT will keep your blood pumping and temperature rising.

About Daniel Stallings

As a young writer, director, and photographer, my plans are always to push the envelope even further and think about the future of art and creativity. Never satisfied with what’s safe or profitable, I like doing my own thing and showing people the beauty in odd things. In April 2010, my first book was published, That Monster, a collection of poetry and short fiction that was centered on ten modern concepts that could be interpreted as “monsters.” In August of that year, I established my own production company, Warehaus Productions, which sought to bring about fresh talent to art through media such as film, photos, and live presentations. In March 2011, my second book, Lighthouse, (the companion to That Monster) was published to be lighter and happier counterpoint, along with original promotional films on its YouTube channel and website. Heat, a book of assorted song lyrics and original photography, was released in July 2011.
