THE INDIGESTIBLE DIGEST

ByDANIEL WARVELLE HARBAUGH

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
A reprint of a classic 1944 spoof on the 'Readers Digest'. This book was created by Norman Anthony and Walter Thornton of the Walter Thornton Modeling Agency in NYC. Thornton is the originator of the WW II 'Pin-Up Girls'. The 'Indigestible Digest' was published in June 1944; when WW II 'D-Day' began with the landing of 155,000 Allied troops on the beaches of Normandy in France; a grim time when America could use a few laughs. This reprint includes brief bios of Anthony and Thornton, and a Pin-Up Girl gallery.
