The poems in this volume are so expressive and hauntingly beautiful. One can feel the anguish, hope and aspirations of this author as she lives and progresses through her young adulthood. As she states in the final poem of this book, "What Poetry Is and Is Not", poetry is observation, poetry is the million little things that go unnoticed - so true, and Daniela Violin has felt, noticed all, and passed her observations on to us, her readers, for our reflection and to give us food for thought. It's regretful that poems written during her teen years were lost, but she asks us to look for future volumes. I look forward to seeing more as she matures through her life.
