"(C)opyright Sign - highly original" (C)opyright Sign would appeal to a wide range of poetry enthusiasts, especially those interested in bilingual poetry. The book contains a series of poems that were originally written in Romanian and then translated into English. Both versions of each poem are presented on facing pages, enabling the reader to spot similarities and differences between the two languages; this is fascinating in itself. The poems vary in length and style. As a non-speaker of the Romanian language, it’s hard to say if any word trickery was lost in translation, but the overall result is an interesting mixture of poems, which stimulate the imagination.
"(C)opyright Sign" This is a very interesting book, not least of all from the point of view that it is bi-lingual. The poetry within is both diverse and stimulating in its imagery. I believe it is something which would appeal to a wide literary audience; the possibility for a wide variety of interpretations will mean this provides the prospect of lengthy discussions.
