(Satire) Let's Kill All the Belgians: A Child's Guide to Genocide
eBook (PDF), 20 Pages
Anyone can name a multitude of great musical, artistic, architectural, and other cultural achievements from most European countries: France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands. But what about Belgium, and its ten million people? What has it contributed to world culture? Fluffy waffles. A few varieties of beer and chocolate. That's about it. Which raises the question: what have the Belgians been doing with their time instead? Maybe Belgium chokes the world with its sweet, sweet waffles to divert us from its growing imperialist ambitions, as the Belgians build a war machine on a scale undreamt of by Alexander or Genghis Khan. As America dithers in the Middle East, its true enemy gathers strength far closer to home. This essential instuctional manual will teach America's children about the growing Belgian threat, and tell them how to combat the coming invasion. Buy it now--because tomorrow may be too late. Sep 12, 2011I don't understand that people are insulted by this book. It is mentioned that the book is a satire and people should read it as a satire. The writer is not ignorant, but just wants to publish a silly and hilarious book. I live in Belgium and I know that we have a lot more than Brussels sprouts and waffles (like mentioned in the book). But the book is funny as hell. The writer pretends to be super stupid and childish. Although the book is a satire the last page of the book contains this: > ABOUT THE AUTHOR > Danny Wind is the author of the best-selling > Let's Kill All the... series. In 2009 he became the > first private citizen to be formally censured by > the United Nations Human Right Council. > His current whereabouts are unknown. > For more of his work, > visit insightoutpost.com/profile/DannyWind. IT'S A PITY - when you buy this book on this site - that you only get a LOW QUALITY JPEG PRINT. So I recommend people wanting a copy of the book to contact me... More > on email@example.com< Less
Jul 3, 2011My girlfriend is Belgian and she and all her friends think this book is hilarious. It is not really a children's book and not to most peoples taste. It is a (self confessed by the author) satire book and I'm surprised to see how few people actually realise the joke here is not against the Belgians, but against the Americans, by a fellow American who understands his nations world image isn't as rosy as the Americans believe, particularly amongst certain European countries. The humour is a bit dark but if you actually read the story you can see he is making fun of the xenophobic and ignorant aspects of American culture. I presume Belgium was the target because it is the centre for the European Parliament, but I can't be 100% sure. By ending the story with a change of focus to the Swedes just mimics recent American foreign policy of "us and them" and the need to find a new "them" once the old "them" are no longer seen as problem.
Jun 24, 2011Before this book, I had no idea the danger that Belgians provided for society. However, I do wish the author had described more ways to help. I'm a libertarian and I don't believe in government-funded genocide. How would I do this? Should I boycott delicious Belgian beer? Shun Belgians? Go down to the Antwerptown section in major cities and beat Belgians with whatever implements of destruction are available? Also, Mr. Wind has not adequately made the case for stopping all the Swedes. One step at a time - I know man's reach exceeds his grasp, but we should focus on problems at hand before the next ones.
Jun 21, 2011i really don't understand why so many belgians are offended by this... i mean really, it's just a stupid book, not meant to be taken seriously. Anyone with an IQ above 50 should realize it's a joke. An as for writing a book called Let's Kill all the Indians... well.. they almost did and that's not funny.. but then, if I'm not mistaken, the belgians killed very many in the belgian congo up until the 1950's.. so jump off your soap box... I am american, my love is belgian.. he doesn't find it funny at all. I think it's just a different sense of humor... and the more you whine & complain the more money Mr Wind will make
Jun 18, 2011I live in belgium and can not understand that this book is published. Is there really no culture in America? I thought after 200 years they were already a bit advanced but it turns out that they still are the same as in the Stone Age. Maybe something different than eating McDonald's and start to wear appropriate clothing, and not walking with your bare ass on the streets. But then you have to receive education and if you do not get in your own country ...... might just come to Belgium, and learn what culture is ......
Jun 16, 2011An exciting view of Belgian atrocities aimed to children's level. Mr Wind has gone out of his way to show us all of the Belgian menace and what should be done. I will be ordering this for my two children and additional copies for my cats to make sure they are aware of the menace (the cats don't keep up on current events). Having said that, I will miss their waffles.
Jun 15, 2011You should not have found out! Did we not give you saxophones so you could play with something wile we prepared for world domination... Well this does not matter. Just a minor setback, you will never be able to stop the Belgian empire now... Within a year all your children will speak our secret Belgian language (how did you find out? We acted as if we spoke french and dutch) and salute the Belgian flag. I will give you one peace of advice don't resist us; there will be peace once everyone is Belgian. You will not have to speak that excuse of a language anymore, people will not laugh because you are a fat American. Hospitals will take care of you when you need it (as opposed to when you have enough money).1% of the population will no longer hold 95% of the wealth. Do not resist us. You will have a better life once you are Belgian. But even if you try to resist, it will be futile. NATO is already under our control! Just as the US. Shadow government!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA! But congratulations... More > on finding out the truth. You must be really really smart. We pretended as if our country was in ruins no government and all. But still you found out. Best regards, A Belgian.< Less
Jun 15, 2011While this feeble attempt to humor might be funny to some, in my opinion this definitely is not a child's story. While this publication would perfectly fit in an American children's warped one parent upbringing full of violent games, calorie filled diets, TV-giant pops and chips based babysitters, the author should have changed the tile to "let's kill all the Indians : The American guide to genocide. This would at least teach the child some true history instead of babble about a country they first of all would never be able to point out on the map due to an American’s notorious lack of geography knowledge and second of all likely will never visit. Belgium, where most children likely speak at least four languages, Flemish, French, Dutch, German and English is filled with history. Beautiful towns and villages dot the landscape. Bruges, Ypres, Antwerp, Ghent, Brussels, spa and Namur had a rich culture before most American cities did. Eric is right too, I forgot NATO and the million... More > soldiers that died in the battle of the Somme, not to mention all the soldiers that died on Belgian soil during WWII. Has the author ever visited an American WWI or WWII cemetery in Belgium....? The local villagers respect and keep these very solemn places in immaculate condition. Poor choice of countries for American children to direct their genocidal tendencies Mr. Danny Wind. Sincerely, A local European.< Less
