John Limpus and Family

ByDaryl Limpus

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This book explores the lives of John Limpus and some of his descendants, in particular, two sets of five brothers. John was born in England, lived in London where he was probably kidnapped and transported as an unwilling indentured servant. He lived in Shenandoah County, Virginia, and Nelson County, Kentucky. It is believed that he died in Nelson County in 1804 or 1805. The first set of five brothers were sons of John and Delilah (Harrell) Limpus; the boys followed their dream of landownership to frontier Indiana. The book gives information on their lives and the lives of their children and grandchildren. The second set of five brothers were sons of Jonathan and Elizabeth (Foxwell) Limpus. The family lived in Indiana, Illinois and western Missouri. The book includes information on the lives of these families.
