"Re: Sleepless in Ballantyne..." You are too kind! That said...I am glad you seem to be enjoying it. I get the feeling a lot of copies remain unread...and Lord wants to be read! I am enjoying your book on nursing during WW2. Fascinating. In fact it has sparked, or rekindled, my interest in medical practices, so much so that I am quite likely going to have a few doctors and nurses and character in November's novel. Mom looked at it, and said she could totally relate. Robert, will, no doubt, agree... Cheers! Dave

"Sleepless in Ballantyne..." Way to go, Dave. You've done it now. Gotcher book yesterday. Decided to have an early night - you know, cozy up in the bed for a quick read followed by 40 winks that will get me through my typcial Frantic Friday workday. Wrong, Dave. Wrong. I couldn't put it down. One more paragraph. One more section. What the hell will he say next? Midnight, one more page... Finally, the early morning alarm. Self-loathing sets in as I promise not to do this to myself again on a work-night. M.L.
