"Go Fish!" This book rocks! And it rolls, rattles, shakes, throws baseballs, and basically does everything a good book should do. Many of my friends had recommended B-Fish to me and provided samples of Low's exemplary work, but it wasn't until I bought this vast collection of comics that I fully understood Mr. Low's talent. Each page of the book just gets better and better, until ultimately one reaches the end, exhales a deep sigh of satisfaction, and then flips backwards to discover that once again, each page seems to improve upon the last. When is the last time you could say THAT about a book? You will not be sorry when you buy this collection. Each comic is at once funny and smart, much like our current president, if only he were, well, funny and smart. Read the book in the park, at work, under the covers late at night, or at the airport to attract attention with the delightful sound of your laugh. B-Fish is a compact little book, but it is packed with enough laughs to... More > get you through any rough day (the covers are printed on sandpaper). For B-Fishermen and B-Fisherwomen everywhere, the publication of this book is a very exciting moment. From now on, B-Fish will reach more eyes and explore deeper ponds. It only goes up from here, folks. And you can help make it happen. Buy the book.< Less

"Brilliant!!!" I'm not an artist, nor have I ever contributed in any significant way to a major publication; therefore, I feel more than justified in writing this instantly ubiquitous online review to tell you, dear Lulu browser, why you need to purchase the instant classic B-Fish No. 37. Gotta love the powers of the Internet, eh? So, just how do I describe the creative genius of Dave Low and his always surprising, consistently far-reaching single-panel comic B-Fish? Luckily for me, I was exposed to B-Fish as it appeared daily in the University of Arizona's student newspaper, The Arizona Daily Wildcat. B-Fish served as the perfect classroom diversion, inducing spontaneous fits of laughter and, more often than not, expanding paradigms-- actions that far surpassed most lectures or the daily crossword puzzle. My walls became plastered with torn and yellowed B-Fish comics cut from the paper, while those other syndicated comics--those fat cats, rebellious teenagers, pet iguanas,... More > and single-fanged pets with "cattitude"-- ended up lining my own cat's litter box. Sadly, that era of B-Fish has ended, and unless you too were fortunate enough to have lived through that first golden age of B-Fish, you likely have no idea what you're missing. However, with this highly anticipated publication of B-Fish No. 37, a stunningly beautiful collection of the same B-Fish comics that appeared in the Daily Wildcat from 2002 to 2004, you can partake in the comical wonders that characterize Low's B-Fish. Now, you need not be a student at the University of Arizona. You don't even need a GED. If you can read, you can B-Fish. Rarely do we have the opportunity to experience such artistic greatness. Still rarer is it to find in such an accessible and inexpensive form as this bound volume of B-Fish No. 37. You are just a few mouse clicks away from altering your perceptions of cartooning forever, while simultaneously supporting a deserving artist who's taken you there. What more could you possibly need to hear (or read)? Trust me, this is the best eight bucks you'll ever spend. B-Smart. B-Fish.< Less
