Sooner or later every child learns to count. This is not yet mathematics. The very first piece of mathematical knowledge is being absorbed with the realization that counting is at all possible. This is what this little book is about. The two kid brothers who wrote and illustrated the story seem to know what they've been talking about - and pass this on beautifully. Among the many children books that teach how to count, this one stands out as the first book about mathematics. Do read this book to your preschooler.
