A small but powerful book. This book offers a wide range of topics, from a healthier way to communicate with your spouse, family or friends to a clearer take on forgiveness and help with depression and anxiety. Dr. Hamilton offers the reader an expanded definition of "okay" for use as "an intentional posture toward any of the many challenges that are thrown at us in life" that alone is worth the price of the book. Dr. Hamilton writes with an easy-to-read, engaging style backed by solid knowledge and experience with some humor thrown in. This book blows away the stereotype of the professional psychologist as a stuffy academic. This is not to say that the articles are lightweight. The sometimes all-too-brief articles (too brief because they captivate the reader)are multi-layered with truths that take some thought on the reader's part. By pondering these truths, the reader will realize that the journey he/she has taken has led to a deeper and clearer understanding of... More > the idea(s)conveyed. I highly recommend this book.< Less
