As the besieged city falls to the Romans, a Jewish priest rescues a precious cargo. Jerusalem, 2007. When a bomb destroys a museum of biblical archaeology, the Israeli government blames Arab terrorists. Journalist Benjamin Jordan finds disturbing holes in the official explanation and quickly finds himself in the crosshairs. One person could help unravel the plot -- Professor Catherine Cavanaugh -- but she has powerful reasons to keep her knowledge to herself. Driven by ambition, scarred by terrorism, torn by the crosscurrents of an age-old conflict, Jordan must decide whom to trust and how far he'll go. His digging could unlock a 2,000-year-old mystery -- and unleash a cataclysm. As serialized at washingtonpost.com/jezebelstomb.

Apr 3, 2009"Highly recommended" Jezebel's Tomb is a thoughtful, engrossing, enormously fun-to-read thriller. The characters are finely drawn, the exotic locales are so well described that you feel like you're there, and the story rips along at a breathtaking pace. The perfect book for your next vacation -- at the beach or lounging comfortably on your own sofa.

Mar 20, 2009"Try putting this down, you can't..." This action packed "what if" thriller based on volatile ancient secrets is far from run of the mill. Clever and astonishingly well researched historical and religious premises, this is a thought provoking page turner with all the right ingredients to keep you in high suspense to the last page. Nov 26, 2008"Loved it" This is a great thriller! Hilzenrath must have done extensive research, because he's able to describe everything so vividly. The story is both thought-provoking and fun, with Indiana Jones touches.
