David loved to live life. He was himself with everyone he met. When I was sick he would stop by and visit me and we would go out and have lunch in Boston. When he became ill, before he died, he paid us a visit once again and made us a great dinner. He always wanted to be a published poet. Though he did not live to see his work published, he was published in our hearts and will remain there for all our days. David would ask a person for a word and then write a complete poem on the spot for that person and they could take that poem home with them to keep as a memory. His book is called "Toodaloo" because that is the phrase he would say in leaving to go home to his dear wife. Another phrase David would say is "Love is the answer". Words well said and lived by a common and yet uncommon man.
