Robin Callbeck, who has lived with Cerebral Palsy since birth, has grown up with an abusive father, a realist mother, and two out of three sisters who are obsessed with the classic family model, and are out of control following their parents divorce. When a memorable humiliation forces Robin to end his childhood, he gets himself a job as a radio broadcaster which leads to a success, suitable career choice for him. But despite his success, his family situation worsens as his wife is an chronic adulteress, and his oldest sister, Abilene, is an out-of-control mother. When one of his other sisters has a mentally retarded child, Robin is soon squared off against citizens who favour spanking and beating children with disabilities- including Abilene. When a murder spree makes its way into the debate, Robin sets out on a fight for justice and to teach society a lesson about children and adults who are different.
