    I purchased this book four weeks ago. I have lost 8 lbs in 4 weeks.I encourage everyone to purchase the book its the best $14.00 I have spent lately. I like to tell people no I am not dieting I am Outsmarting my Fork. The book is very encouraging and helps you rewire your brain to where you are eating healthier foods. You wontt have the desire for junk food because you start having more energy and feeling better. Thanks Dr Mark this is a very encouraging book. ~ Tammy Stack

    This book has been very beneficial to our family, not only has it helped us outsmart the fork but it has empowered me to quit smoking. I have smoked for over twenty years, and tried to quit many time with no success. After reading this book I decided to quit and have been doing better than any other time before.

    This book should be mandatory reading if you are struggling to keep the weight off. It teaches you to "rewire your brain" in order to transition your "mindless bad habits" into "mindless healthy habits." It helps identify which issues in your life (e.g. chronic stress) are leading to your weight problem and then provides specific methods to overcome these obstacles. It is well researched but doesn't bog down with excessive scientific detail. I found it easy and enjoyable to read. I don't know if I will be able to reach my ideal weight, but I know that this book provided doable suggestions that I hope will permanently tip the "calories in, calories out" equation in my favor. It's now up to me.

    GET THIS BOOK!!! Best $14 you'll ever spent! I think this BOOK IS VERY IMPORTANT! Quite simply, it is both effective and user friendly! The authors do a great job of explaining how you can make simple tweaks in your lifestyle in order to improve your diet and start not only looking good, but more importantly,feeling good about yourself and your health. What blew me away was that it doesn't start with a trendy new diet plan, but it all starts from within yourself. You and your mind are the diet plan! There is a reason why you are eating so much or why you are eating so much junk food, whether it be from stress or anxiousness you are eating because it serves as an outlet for whatever is going on in your life. What I took away from the book is that I don't have do a diet where I have to eat less than half a portion a day or I have to stop eating some of my favorites food. Instead I need to change the way I think, simple. Well, maybe not so simple, but they provide the tools to help you... More > achieve that mindset. Also, another key factor is finding other outlets other than unhealthy eating. I am not much on diet books or even exercise books, but I feel that I needed to write a review because it can change the way you think and change your life for the better. I honestly think you can apply this to other things, not just food. Perhaps is you are a smoker or drinker, etc....change your mindset and help you quit. Once you understand the concept and the idea behind it, GOALS will get accomplished. Oh, the best thing...the book is so EASY TO READ. To the point and done. Good Luck!< Less
