Jun 25, 201126 Ways Let me count the ways. Dave clearly has thought long and hard about what really matters in life and his conclusions will benefit people who have gotten lost fight to the clearing of sunlight. That's not to say that I agree with everything in the book. For instance, from an early chapter: "Feeling Good is the Most Important Thing." Well, not necessarily. If your husband/wife/life partner had some horrible wasting disease and you were stuck taking care of them it would probably feel good to get a divorce, get free, and go back to living your life. In this case, I'd say being a good person is more important than feeling good. You promised loyalty, so you should stick it out even when times get tough. But maybe in this case Dave though would argue that being loyal would make you feel the good vibes of being a good person, which is a better vibe than the vibe you would get by leaving the sick person and gaining your freedom back. Tough to say. At any rate, this book... More > raises some important points that all of us need to think about, in a world full of not-so-good vibes. Dave is going to be an important author on the self help scene, it is obvious to see. All of us are waiting for his next book with a kind of nervous wonder: will he be able to top the wisdom of 26 ways? Will he have "matured" in his life philosophy over the past five years? Can't say for sure till he releases it to the general public, but my guess is the next book is going to be really good. Anyway, if you are looking for a good self help book, you should skip the Tony Robbins and the Deepak Chopra and go straight to the fresh new voice we have here. It'll get the kinks out. And let the Good Vibes in.< Less
Aug 26, 2009"Uplifting and Inspiring!" This collection of wisdom is striking in its simplicity and profound in its ability to gently shake one from this fitful slumber we are all currently "living" as a part of. As we drift in and out of this haze we call life, there are moments of clarity. There are things read, seen and experienced that remind us of who we Are: a candle in the window that leads us home through the darkest night. In this case, Dave offers us 26 candles to illuminate our path home. He reminds us that we are the Creators of our own lives, and gives us important tools to utilize to optimize our experience here. I feel empowered and yet at peace after having read this book. It gives me a sense of strength and courage that I might truly have the power to create my reality, and do it well. I feel blessed that I have attracted such an uplifting piece of literature into my life. Thank you Dave for writing it! I feel certain that you pulled this information from the... Aug 1, 2009"Thanks For 26 Ways, Dave" Dave has delivered a very powerful message in 26 simple and easy to understand chapters. Most of us get caught up in the complexities of life and become consumed with the demands that we put on ourselves, both presumed and real. During our long anticipated weekends, we become so immersed with trying to meet the expectations of others and the unrealistic goals that we set for ourselves that we are exhausted on Monday morning and we don't know why. We look forward to another weekend only to have the ugly cycle begin again. What's wrong with that picture? In 26 Ways To Feel Good Vibes, Dave tells us what is wrong with that. With illustrations that brilliantly compliment his messages, Dave re-defines the yardstick of life. He tells us that we have to learn to relax and ENJOY LIFE. Yes, enjoy life. He reminds us to have fun without feeling guilty about it. Thanks, Dave. I hope you are already working on the sequel to 26 Ways To Feel Good Vibes. Len
Mar 9, 2008"Thoughtful and Inspiring *****" The 26 ways are thought provoking and inspiring. Simple thoughts that can make your life or just a day in your life a little brighter. Thanks for all 26 ways to feel good. Looking forward to the next 26.
Feb 24, 2008"Fantastically Inspiring and Miraculously Simple " Dave has written an "Ockham's Razor" solution for living life simply and getting the most out of it. When multiple competing theories (how to live a full and enriching life, make a positive contribution to our civilization, be a model for peace and love) have equal predictive powers, Ockham's principle recommends that a person select the solution that introduces the fewest assumptions and postulates the fewest hypothetical theories. Dave's, "Feel Good Vibes" provides all of that and more in 26 wonderfully written, easy to understand, joyful ways to live a fulfilling life. Why make life so complicated when it was intended to be simple. Just start to do what Dave recommends, “Lighten Up,” “Focus on what you want,” “Create your day,” and “Enjoy the buffet of life around you.” It’s all free and has a huge payback! Right on Dave!!
