"Exciting story from a new author" Double Life is an exciting story. Dawson Vosburg has done an admirable job for his debut novel. The book is targeted toward middle-school boys, and the mix of science fiction and the thrilling world of agents and counter-agents is certain to be enjoyed by those readers. A nice job of interweaving side plots with the main plot of BLUE versus RED in the world that the mysterious sunglasses take the kids, with an engaging lead character in Josiah Jones. A quick but fun read. Hopefully we will see more from the young author.

"Good opening!" I have a feeling Dawson isn't as young as he says he is. He writes too well. I don't think I'm exactly the audience he's aiming at, but the book's sense of pace and humour are very gripping straight away. And his idea is a neat one - just by donning a pair of sunglasses he found on the floor of the mall, Josiah, his hero, is transported into his imaginary life ... which becomes real instantly. Haven't we all had that dream? To get out of our real lives and inhabit our imaginary ones? Well that's what Josiah gets to do - to become daring Agent 12, working for the Blue agency. Good work, Agent 12! ... I mean, Dawson ...
