"Truth and Honesty" Ms. Stevens is well known for her passionate crusade to raise awareness for ovarian cancer and an early detection test. Using her writing talents to futher this cause is a blessing for us all. This lady is quite a story teller as well as a talented poet. "Follow a Freesia" will give you glimpse at both of these. The poetry and prose is delivered in clever style and I enjoyed reading it all. Her poems are heartfelt and the short stories ring with truth and honest emotion. These stories could be about your neighbors or even yourself. One that I felt was paticularly well written and enjoyable was "Reality Check". I also loved the end of the book where she has listed the signs of ovarian cancer. I'd like to thank this talented and passionate author for her devotion to this cause and for sharing her wonderful stories.
