Sophisticated is about five woman telling the truth through their own eyes on how they have over come their challenges while holding on to their dignity. Kathleen is recently single after being married for thirty years and losing her husband to cancer. As she steps back out into the world of the singles she finds out that things don't always appear as they seem and having the wrong preception of someone could could cost you your life.
