Sweet Dreams of Yesteryear [My Micklefield] is about the Micklefield of my childhood from the mid 1940s to just after the millennium. It also tells of eras before my time told to me in hand-me-down stories by folk who were told these same stories in the same way. It is about the resolve and strength of character of those who have lived in Micklefield. Good down-to-earth village folk who helped to mould my home town into a conscientious, caring community.Most of all it is about who we are, what we are and where our roots are buried.
