Norbert MBU-MPUTU, often using his writing pseudonym of NORBERT X, was born in DR Congo (Mai-Ndombe province). A former high school teacher, UN civil servant, and team leader of a British NGO, he lives in the United Kingdom. A journalist often invited by media (RFI, TV5, BBC, etc.) for analyses on Africa and DR Congo, he carries out research in anthropology and sociology, including for The Centre for Research on Migration, Refugees and Belongings (CMRB/University of East London) on traditional African religions specifically on the “kindoki” (witchcraft). Delivered projects sponsored by Heritage Lottery Fund on the British Isles and DR Congo common history (Henry Morton Stanley/1841-1904, Rev. William Hughes/1856-1924 and two Congolese boys and his Congo House/The African Training Institute (1890-1912) in Colwyn Bay (Wales), Norbert finishes the project “Bo’Biso: Edmund Morel (1873-1924) and the Congo Reform Association (1904-1912 ) which fought against Leopold II’s Congo atrocities. Sponsored by Unlimited Millennium Awards and awarded diplomas, certificates, studied Philosophy, Sociology and Anthropology, Film, and Charity Management, founded South People's Projects-SoPPro (charity) and MediaComX Ltd. His book "L’autre Lumumba. Peuple du Congo : Histoire, résistances, assassinats et victoires sur le front de la Guerre froide, (2019, 740 pages) is a masterpiece with unpublished information, documents and revelations included, and very easy to read.
