From just the cover itself I was intrigued. Being a graphic designer I thought it was bold to take a dollar bill like he did and break it apart and throw some white stars and stripes in the mix. Although I might of added some tones of gold and green. I might also of played with the typography too just to make it more expressive. After you get past the front cover you are entranced with an emotional tangent of poetic verse. Each piece explodes with thought out provocative prose. Really no holds barred or feelings spared here. Over all it flows very nicely from one stanza to the next. Does it live up to its name "Mortality Clause" well yes and no, you have to have an open mind and have no prior ties to the author to get the full effect or be influenced. It was well worth the money I spent on the book and the shipping. Good Job Mr Alston keep it up.
