Paperback, 297 Pages

In this hilarious and dead-on accurate guide to the world of men and dogs, were’re introduced to the concept of Pack Status Personality. In addition to the totally misunderstood Alphas, we meet Betas, Leglifters, Junkyard Dogs, Perpetual Puppies, and more. We learn where they live and work, what they drive, and how they dress, all based on the “preinstalled operating system” that comes with each PSP. Far from the expected male-bashing, this outrageously funny book even explains why home improvement projects can cause male impotence! If you’re a woman and have a discernable pulse, YOU NEED THIS BOOK. If you’re a guy, ignore the author’s warnings and read it anyhow…

Jan 11, 2009"A MUST HAVE book!" What do you say when a book comes along that makes you laugh out loud while putting amazing insight and critically necessary information into your head. This is the most important book on relationships to come along since Sex and the Single Girl. On the surface a humorous book about how to categorize and identify male personality types (PSP or Pack Status Personality) which is dead on accurate and really funny...dig a little deeper and you realize that this information is urgently needed in a society with a staggering divorce rate and with lasting relationships practically on the endangered species list. Why? Because too many women do not realize that you can NOT change a man...read this book and you will understand why a man's PSP is hardwired into him based on his brain biochemistry. WYSIWYG...what you see is what you get when it comes to men. The secret to a successful relationship to begin with is choosing the RIGHT man for YOU. Like choosing the... More > right dog (you don't choose a Pekingnese if you need a dog to retrieve ducks all day) choosing a man with a PSP that meets YOUR needs is the key and this book is a literal field guide to men. One of the big problems women face is that they are constantly encountering misinformation on male personality. If a guy tells you he's an Alpha male chances are really good he is NOT. Alpha males don't go around flashing their PSP, they just 'are'. If you are told that Alpha males can have sex with 20 women a month, you are learning about monkeys, not men...Alpha men are monogamous! It's Leglifters who claim to be Alpha males and who can't keep 'it' in their pants. Women NEED to know this stuff. With the exception of a couple of PSPs (Fearbiters and LoneWolves...and being able to identify these guys can literally save your life) there is no PSP that's right for every women...the trick is knowing what YOU need and choosing the right guy in the first place and this book is the tool you need. Women need to read this book...parents should buy this book for their daughters. Men should read this book to gain greater understanding about who they are...and as validation of who they are when women want to change them...grin. Even if you aren't intereted in a personal relationship with a man, we all have to deal with them in some way and understanding WHO they are can give you an edge even in the business world....what will work with a Leglifter may not work with a Perpetual Puppy...KNOW your competition, opposition or target audience. Another incredible book from this Maxwell award-winning author...2 thumbs up, a kajillion stars.< Less
Mar 5, 2008"Just another member of the Y Chromosome Club For Morons speaking" I haven't read this book aside from the preview which is the Introduction; an Introduction that warns men not to read what the author had printed due to the fact that it's strictly written from a female point of view centered at a female audience. Personally, I feel this might possibly be a mistake. Perhaps, the author intended to provoke the curiosity of us simple minded men like hog tying a beautifully clad lady, almost gift wrapped in ropes, gags, and bondages of the sort alone, to leave her in your care, then tell you, "Don't touch!" But that's neither here nor there. From the author's Introduction alone, I feel any gender might find this absolutely hilarious. The author has a great sense of humor.
