Dance of the Mocking Birds tells the turbulent story of Jack Weasal, an orphan, now in his late twenties, and Rosemary Corr, raised in the inner city of Dublin, in what should be the prime of their lives, but who have been caught up in the feelings and emotions that they had little control over the origins. Both have had difficult upbringings that they are trying to come to terms with. Jack is more inclined to take things as they come. But Rosemary wants a whole lot more, but not sure of what that might be. Told with an acute insight into the inner emotions and sometimes with outright bawdy humour, this story relates the needs that brought these young people together which are the very forces that could drive them apart, as their characters clash with costly consequences.
