The Runes Of Avildon

Young Mark Thorsen arrives in the sleepy college town of Avildon in the remote English Cotswolds, but before he can even unpack, he is confronted by two evil men, both intent of not only depriving Mark of his posting but his life. The only thing saving Mark is the mysterious medallion found hanging around his neck as a baby when his parents were killed in a fire. Unfortunately Mark doesn’t know how it works or what the ancient Runic symbols inscribed on it mean, even though he became a professor of dead languages in an attempt to find out. Now he must find out what they mean, for the lives of his new love, his son as well as his own are at stake, as the world is going mad around him. Can he find what the medallion means before it is too late for all humanity, as the forces of evil are about to strike.
