This is the sequel to H. Beam Piper's Cosmic Computer, that I wish he had written if he hadn't committed suicide in the 50's. At the time of his death, he was often mentioned in the same sentence as Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clark. He had the same grand vision of future history and skill at story telling. As his works are now in the public domain, I have written this novella length sequel for him. If you like a rousing good yarn, with lots of action, a quest, good versus evil and unexpected plot twists then you'll enjoy this story.
