You’ve taken my Island, you thievish scum

ByDominicus Pannonius

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Some claim that Ivo Andrić - who had been born in Travnik in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1892 and became the Nobel laureate in literature for 1961 - once said 'Every fifty years or so in this territory the prudent ones become silent, the fools start to speak, and the crooks get rich.' This is what this book is about. Events described therein provide a bit unusual but rather accurate account of the fall of the country which was once called Yugoslavia; and of the reasons for the fall; and of the world which has been built on the ruins of the country. I’ve been there. I do not disclose my true name, for the same reason why Salman Rushdie should have never done it. I am not as brave as he was - perhaps because my fanatics are more fanatic than his have ever been.
