An excellent essay on the insidious nature of the Watchtower teachings, specifically the 'concept' that is their first and foremost dogma. I was an active Witness for many years and was as misled as anyone else in this fundamentalist religion. You really don't see it when you're 'in'. All the popes and all the clergy in all other religions was wrong, because "Jesus is our Leader", so how is it that I didn't see that Jehovah's Witnesses are exactly the same, even worse, in this respect? Just goes to show how powerful the ever-repetituous indoctrination is. A full recommendation for anyone that has anything to do with Jehovah's Witnesses, whether as a JW, a relative, or someone trying to offer help. The argumentation focuses on the essential arguments. No sensationalist, out-of-proportion hate-mongering here. A great piece of work.
