Still Waters was an interesting look at an old and very tragic episode in history. I found the plot of the mummy Ka-Re to be an original idea -- original is hard to come by in a story, like the Titanic, these days. I liked the friendship between Thomas Andrews, the designer and builder of the Titanic, and the fictional character Dennis Parker. One of the things I enjoyed most about this book, was the fact that it was told from the point of veiw of the Titanic's crew -- a side of the story that has never been explored.
