A chronologically sound and effectively communicated harmonization of the four gospels. However, a Gospel harmony is only as elegant as its source text. Unfortunately, Giddens utilized the antiquated Elizabethan prose of the King James Bible, a 400-year-old Anglican translation disconnected from contemporary English-speaking laypeople, incorporating various Medieval-period archaisms, interpolations, mistranslations, translational inconsistencies, and unjustifiable omissions. So, whereas the author's composition receives a five-star rating, the translation itself is faulty and inadequate. Overall, this publication receives three stars.
