My Life in Several Nutshells

Why am I writing this book? Certainly there are few, if any, who would care a wit about who Dick Baldwin is and/or was. I have created nothing of major significance to society, other than my family and a few significant friendships. This book is primarily a memoir of my experiences in life and how they meld with external events. It is based on the assumption that my descendants may have a curiosity, as I have had, relating to their ancestry. Although principally designed for my children and grandchildren in mind, there may be others in my extended family with an interest in those events, as I relate elements of genealogy from a personal viewpont. I incorporate stories about some of my ancestors, which may be some of their ancestors, as well.
