Heddle, Neddle & Toe is the story of three pigs living happily on Farmer Browns Farm. That is
until the littlest one became jealous of what the others had. He felt left out and decided that life
outside of the protection of the pen must have more to offer. The many lessons he learned
could be applied to each of our lives today; young and old alike. If each of us could take a
lesson from this book as its author intended, we would soon learn that the grass in not always
greener on the other side of the fence. We would also learn things are not always what they
seem. But I believe that the greatest lesson of all from this heartwarming story would be to grow
where you are planted and learn to be content with what God has given you.
It’s a sweet story written from the heart of a mother/grandmother to all who will listen and learn
the simplest lessons of life.
