Seelsorger, A Journal for the Contemporary Cure of Souls, volume 3, continues its work of applying Law and Gospel to various aspects of practical, pastoral care. Essays cover the use of humor in preaching, visitation of dementia victims, a scriptural treatment of the congregation as family under pastoral care, preaching the virtues of Christ, and an examination of pastoral evaluation methods. This volume concludes with a guest book review of the new translation of Walther’s American-Lutheran Pastoral Theology.
