About Dr. Adam Luker

Dr. Adam Luker completed his Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in both Trombone Performance and Human Movement Sciences from the University of Wisconsin under the Boltz Fellowship. His research involving the specific muscle-tension patterns in brass players has yielded ground-breaking findings, the results of which are aimed at curing Dystonia and other repetitive stress injuries encountered by musicians. Performing in New York's Carnegie Hall at age 15, Dr. Luker has been awarded "Winner" of the International Music Competition, was nominated as All New England's "Outstanding Brass Performer" while still in high school, and has received distinguished marks in various solo competitions throughout the United States and in Scandinavia. Additionally, Dr. Luker has worked with hundreds of clients as a sought-after Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor and Cross Fit Coach, was married in the West Indies, and enjoys spending time with his cat, Duncan.
